Some music I love.

John Brack (Ian Potter Centre, NGV)

I went to the Ian Potter Centre (NGV) in federation square on the weekend, it is entirely dedicated to Australian artists. While I was there I came across some of John Brack’s artwork. Before the weekend all I knew of John Brack was that he painted Collin St. 5pm, which I saw. Other paintings of his that I saw include The Block 1954, The Bar 1954, and Nude with Dressing Gown 1967. I really enjoyed the style of his work particularly the angular way he has of painting faces and his use of colour.
